R|MILLER Inc performed tenant improvement work for the Tommy Bahama call center in Federal Way, Washington. Preconstruction services included building assessment and systems analysis, design coordination, construction scheduling, constructability reviews, managing sub-consultants for mechanical, electrical and fire permit drawings, cost estimating, and providing value engineering review and recommendations. Scope of work included demolition of the existing entry, acoustical ceilings, and floating floors in preparation for the tenant improvements. The 15,700-square-foot build out included a reception area, offices, conference room, break room with a kitchen, education room, server room, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler system reconfiguration. The project was completed within budget by the tenant’s desired move-in date.
