Redhook Brewlab

R|MILLER Inc proudly partnered with Craft Brew Alliance and Graham Baba Architects to construct the new Redhook Brewlab in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Housed within the old Pike Motorworks building, the brewpub is a modern, open-plan brewery and pub concept that spans roughly 14,000 square feet. Our team was able to shape every inch of the space to meet our client’s specifications, which included improvements to the existing parking level, through-wall penetrations to route duct work from the façade to the roof, mechanical equipment and screening, installation of an interior floor slab, and other structural modifications.

A focal point inside the brewpub is a custom mural by Seattle illustrator and Grammy-nominated Sub Pop Records Art Director Sasha Barr; the colorful collage features local iconography and Seattle landmarks. Patrons can sit at the bar and enjoy the abundance of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights, lounge on the front patio and people-watch, or hang out around the firepits in the back, weather permitting.

Budget: $3,260,000

Schedule: 6 months

Architect: Graham Baba Architects
