HomeStreet Bank

R|MILLER Inc built HomeStreet Bank’s first free-standing location in Issaquah, Washington. The 4,110-square-foot building was constructed on a half-acre site that challenged the initial plan for the project. During contractor qualifications, R|MILLER worked with the design team and owner to reduce building costs to the extent that the project still penciled despite the site’s issues. This effort was accomplished seamlessly and allowed construction to begin on time. Work consisted of a composite steel structure with light-gauge framing and high-end interior finishes, as well as a remote 3-bay drive-up with a pneumatic tube system. The building’s design integrity—both exterior and interior—was retained.
