R|MILLER Inc was selected to renovate Lutheran Community Services Northwest’s administrative offices in SeaTac, Washington. Work was performed on approximately 500 square feet of the first and third floors of an existing three-floor office building and included the demolition of existing partitions and build-out of non-load-bearing partitions to create a separate office space. Alterations were made to electrical, low voltage, fire alarm, and fire sprinkler systems to accommodate the reconfigured layout. R|MILLER employed a phased approach to construction and worked with the owner to determine the best sequencing of work in order for the building to remain occupied and operational throughout the renovation. During work hours we were mindful of noise, and extra precautions were taken to protect existing finishes and clean shared exit paths in and out of the space. In addition, we helped maintain the security of the premises, which had several entrances that were closed the general public, to ensure the security of office equipment left in the space during construction.
